With details of our new Colchester branch finally revealed Evolve are also very excited to announce that they have further pledged their support to the town by sponsoring kits for relaunched Colchester and District League team Old Saints United.

"Old Saints United Football Club underwent a complete relaunch earlier this month, spurred on by a change in Chairman" explained Matt Scott, OSUFC player and Senior Mortgage Broker at Evolve, "Originally, the squad was made up of players from two separate teams, however now they are united as one team, one club with a clear vision of what they want to achieve".

As part of their commitment to the club Evolve will be sponsoring both the home and away kits for the 21/22 season.  

The new squad now consists of 29 players ranging between 21 – 43 years old. They already have 10 friendly games booked in until the start of the season and will also train during the week.

"it’s been a great experience and although it was hard work putting everything together in such a short timeframe, it’s exciting to see where we go from here" Matt continued, "it’s such a great atmosphere on the pitch, everyone is so welcoming; it’s not just the players that attend, but their families are often there cheering us on, they even bring cakes and coffee – it’s just so much fun!"

The club, now chaired by Terry Cave and Adrian Mowbray are also hoping to raise money for local charities with a series of charity matches; something that Chairman Terry has previously been involved in as he keenly supports a local homeless charity through football events.

The teams first friendly is scheduled for Sunday 23rd May where they’re playing Clacton Villa F.C in an away game.
